Hi I’m Annie ~ Just a girl from North London with some really big dreams!

I am very happy.  I am living my dream life.  I have sailed around the globe, had Kings help me moor my yachts in the Caribbean, mixed with billionaires on their superyachts, partied with stars in St.Barths,  Mustique, St Tropez and Monaco ~ daahlings. I’ve been  a success in the corporate world and as my own boss … I was scared of money, now its my best friend, I was a serial idiot partner picker, now I am a great match-maker. I was embarrassed to ask for good things now, whatever I am grateful for, becomes abundant.

Best of all, I’ve met the most incredible women on the planet, and in this amazing job, I meet more everyday. It is my bliss.  I spend most of my time focussed on my mission especially volunteering for projects that help and support women, encourage diversity in sport and protect the environment. This is my opportunity to give back to all the women who helped me.

Thank you Ladies, Thank you Universe

Hmmmm…but It didn’t start out like that…..

I survived a traumatic upbringing in inner city London; daughter of Irish immigrants trapped by poverty,  often confused & alone as a result of a bitter 4 year divorce battle where  I spent nights in a battered wife’s refuge, nearly expelled from my Convent School because Catholics did not divorce (in those days)  revising for GCSEs with no gas or electricity, doing all I could to keep the peace, aged 11. I left school early so that I could go to work to keep a roof over our heads and grew to be an uncomfortable size 18. Consecutive boyfriends stole money from me, smashed up my possessions and cheated on me. Bad times

This brought on the 1st major turning point in my life which I remember SO vividly; it was the point at which I was revising with the last candle slowly burning out when I stopped and said out loud  “I am NEVER going to be in this position again. Never” . I promised myself that I would find a way to be healthy, wealthy and to have choices. After that, any negatives made me stronger and challenged me to find ways to lift myself out of the situations and into a successful life.  And I did. I succeeded against the odds quoted at me, ignoring the doubters & people waiting to see me fail; people who used to say things like “she has very fancy ideas that Annie” and “she’s got designs above her station that one”…….oh yes I did.   Very BIG designs 🙂

Home was in one of Londons most violent dangerous boroughs. I am grateful for everything it taught me

Gratitude is an Amazing Comfort It is a catalyst for change

How did it all come about..

Believe:  I believed (and I worked) ….I believed (and I worked)…I believed (and I worked). I kept cheery and positive and believed – I just believed and held onto my dream of being wealthy enough to enable me to have choices. I had 3 jobs in one day gradually improving my finances. Slowly I began to manifest success and wealth and good things. I was a sponge for new business/coaching ideas and read every self-help book there was remembering the hype for Tony Robbins first book all those years ago. I focussed on what I wanted and what you focus on ~ you get.

Have courage, make affirmations: I asked for things that one didn’t normally ask for like jobs, promotions, pay rises & mortgages (aged 19). I called it being cheeky :). If you don’t ask…you don’t get. I took a few risks too, always believing It would come good. “I can handle anything” “I can handle anything”

Good Attitude. I have a positive attitude. One of the biggest lessons I learnt is that you have the power to change things. If you walk in happy, bubbly and lead by example being generous kind and making people tea and being friendly, it will affect people. Even the grumpiest of stalwarts change if you consistently behave this way and people start mirroring your behaviour.

What you focus on, you get
Focus on what you WANT!

Choose well:  We all have choices – every moment of every day. We are in control, always. We are the only ones in control of our feelings and our behaviours.  No-one else, just us.   When you realise that you have no control over what people do (and what people do to you )….  BUT you do control over your response, life gets much easier. When the bad boyfriends did their worst, whilst it was painful, I taught myself to change my response. I realised that anyone doing this to me did not deserve my love, so I gave thanks that I realised this about them before it was too late. I changed my sorrow for me to sorrow for them. Yes, strange though it may sound – I started to feel sorry for them. They missed out on a really good egg like me. Poor them.

You see? If you teach yourself how to do this then no-one can hurt you. You choose. If you want to be sad, hurt and blame yourself …then you can. It is your choice to feel that way. Ah no. No no no. Much better to thank your luck stars you got away!

Take a few Risks:  In my late 20’s I was a Director in the retail Industry, had bought my third flat in London and attracted wonderful friends and supporters into my life ~ I manifested success and money, with a change of attitude. I wasn’t afraid to ask for it and believe I deserved it. And I took risks… The biggest one was leaving my corporate career after meeting Ellen MacArthur at Kingfisher AGM

Get a coach: Starting your own business takes courage. I listened to my inner voice & knew it was right. I dared to change tack in my 30’s and start a totally different career and beat the guys in yacht races (which was great fun!). It was hard work but rewarding beyond belief attracting lots of PR & attention. The huge step change in my financial life was getting the help of a life coach. That catapulted my success and was the key turning point in making the better decisions. Manifesting wealth got easier.  I still make sure I spend thousands every year on my own coaching and self development. It pays me back every time
